Busy at the Tea Room!

I just realized it has been months since I blogged! It has been crazy busy around here. Our busiest summer ever! And now we are gearing up for the Versailles Olde Tyme Apple Festival. Held every year, the first weekend in October. This years festival is October 3rd. We have a wonderful "float" in the parade this year. My employees have done a great job helping me plan it and have even found the actual float for me and the people to participate on the float. (We don't get to do that ourselves because we are just too busy that day!) My sister is busy planning the first ever quilt show in conjunction with the festival. The proceeds will benefit "Project Graduation" for our local high school. The quilt show will be held at The Hunter Civic Center. Ashley has returned to Missouri from California (Hooray!) and she has been keeping me busy as usual. She keeps me young~never a dull moment when she is in town! We are also busy unpacking new merchandise, reorganizing the shop and getting everything ready for our Holiday Open House and Christmas activities. Hope to see you soon!
