Common Ground Ministry

Toni and Me at the Common Ground Ministry Annual Tea in Lebanon Missouri. A world-traveler, great grandmother and retired minister, Toni is one of the most loving, outgoing and joy-filled women I have ever met. I was thrilled when she asked me to be the guest speaker at her Tea Party. Her mission is to bring women together from all walks of life and circumstances for healing and building relationships. I met so many wonderful ladies at the Tea Party! Toni and her sister's decorated the hall in a "Christmas in July - Winter Wonderland" theme. It was so charming. I love being in my Tea Room, but it is also wonderful to get out and see what some of my customer's are doing and to be involved. Over the years I have had the pleasure to speak at many Christian women's gatherings, sororities, study clubs and business functions. I am really kind of a shy person and not a very good public speaker, but I just say a prayer and get out there anyway! I am grateful for so many patient audiences!
