New Employee

Christa, Mark and Alex. Saturday May 9, 2009. I am proud to introduce the newest member of our Tea Server Extraordinaire team, Alex. Alex is Mark's nephew! This makes four members of one family who have worked at Shady Gables. Niki, Mark, Juli and now Alex. (Christa's sister, Bethany also used to work here. That makes two members of her family.) My family still holds the record, though. Seven members of my family have worked at Shady Gables, although most of us don't get paid! (HA!) Alex is a kind, polite young man who, I am sure, will be a suitable replacement for our dear friend, Mark. Mark's last day is May 23rd, so he is busy teaching Alex all the behind the scenes details that it takes to keep Shady Gables running, as well as all the details of brewing tea and serving tea meals.
